Response from Xtranormal to a teacher's concern about some of the content on Xtranormal and the possible idea of sectioning out educational content:

Definitely noted, and certainly something that's been on the table for ways that the current educator program could be expanded.

Just as a reminder, the site's terms and conditions state that the service is not recommended for anyone under the age of 13, which is pretty standard for quite a few services (social networks included) where uncontrollable aspects like user-generated content and scripts/comments are a central part of the service. This regulation drives some of the design and promotional aspects of website as well as the fact that our current educator program is really only set up to enable educators to make instructional/educational movies on their own accounts, and no "student" option exists.
